ABOUT US

The story of our brand is quite simple. It all started in 2017, when I first picked up wool. I became fascinated with the craft, got more interested, started practising and became certified as a wool felter.

Over time, my daughter-in-law, Jūratė, felt the same love for wool. We decided it was time to share the fruits of our beloved activity with the world.

And so A.S.Felt was born.

We are still new to the business, so we hope that we will soon settle in, get to know each other and establish a mutual relationship with you.

AUGENIJA

Since I was six years old I wanted to draw a horse, and I tried a bit – I wasn’t happy with the result.

I’ve always been interested in different kinds of needlework. I learned to crochet while I was still at school. I did a lot of knitting for my family and for others. I also used to work with leather, mostly in jewellery and other haberdashery. I have a background as an artist.

As you can see, I have tried a lot of different crafts, but four years ago I was introduced to woollen felting and I got completely immersed in it.

I am still learning and experimenting. Now it’s my main activity, and I’m fascinated by wool.

And I haven’t painted a horse yet.

JŪRATĖ

My friendship with wool started very recently, as a student of Augenia. She pushed me and asked me to give it a try, and I’m very happy about that.

I never thought I would fall in love with handicrafts. I always found it boring, but wool fascinated me. I am a mother of three children, so after a hard day, wool felting has become like a meditation, a time to be with myself and a nice break. And it’s really nice when your work is enjoyed by others.

I’m trying to do my best, and I want more people to love felted wool products!

NICE TO MEET YOU!
